BEST of Beauty 2014

It's not something I blog about much, but I love me some makeup!

I am the kind of girl that finds a product, falls in love, and is faithful for years and years to come. But since delving into the blogging world, I've been very easily persuaded to try out lots of lovely new products, which have now become firm favourites in my makeup bag!

So with that in mind, I wanted to share with you a few of my favourite beauty bits of 2014...
Clinique Superbalanced Foundation.
I have been a Clinique girl for years. I have eczema and very sensitive skin, and I love that Clinique tailor their products to suit all skin types. This foundation for me is the one. It is light, but has great coverage and is easily buildable if you want to go for a full makeup look. It stays on the skin so well, without feeling like your even wearing anything. It's also pretty well lasting, which helps when I am constantly nuzzling my face into the chunky neck folds of Aria, or blowing raspberries on her belly!

Benefit Gimme Brow Gel.
I did a blog post on this beaut last summer which you can read here, and you'll be able to see just how much I love it! I've got naturally thick eyebrows anyway, so they need more taming than filling in, and this does the job perfectly!

The Bodyshop Colour Crush Shine Lipstick.
I had no idea how good The Bodyshop makeup range was, until I was lured in after seeing Liza at Glambeauty raving about their lipstick range, and I immediately fell in love! My two favourites are 11 Nude Allure and 18 Sunset Romance (both pictured). Again, I did a separate review of these which you can see here, along with the All in One Cheek Colour in 01 Macaroon!

Urban Decay Naked Palette and Primer Potion.
I was going to write about my favourite Naked Palette, but that's like picking your favourite child... I just can't! I love them all so much for different reasons (I own the Naked, Naked 2, Naked 3 and Naked Basics palettes, so you can see my obsession...) but I have been loving the Naked Basics for a quick and easy everyday look.

One thing that cannot go unmentioned is the Primer Potion. This little gem lasts FOREVER! I thought I was running low on my last tube so I went and got another to have on hand when I did use it all up... that was 12 months ago and I am still using up what I thought were the last drops! As you can tell, a little goes a hell of a long way!

O.P.I My Favourite Ornament Nail Varnish.
This is the glitter nail varnish of all glitter nail varnishes. I came across this just in time for the festive period, and it is what I've been looking for for years!! It is from the Mariah Carey Holiday Collection and my gosh, how beautiful! The glitter covers your whole nail in just one coat - unlike some where you have to apply about 10 coats just to get the desired look! I can see myself getting more from this range, especially Make Him Mine which may be the most delicious rose gold I have ever seen...

And finally for skincare... FOREO Luna mini.
This may be the best little invention on the planet. I'm not going to go into too much detail on this as I did a blog post on this, which you can read here. But let me tell you, it is the best purchase you will ever make. Using this makes such a difference to my skin, and is something that has a proud place in my bathroom cabinet!

There are a lot of other products I have loved throughout the year, but these are a few of my absolute favourites. If you would like to see the others that I've been loving or would like to see a 'What's in my Makeup Bag' post then let me know in the comments below!
