Aria is well past the weaning stage, but like any mum I'm always on the lookout for ways to get extra fruit and veg into her diet. She enjoys most foods, which is fantastic, but it's always nice to mix up the way she gets her daily intake of goodies.

When this lovely little package from My Little Piccolo arrived on our doorstep, I'm not sure which of us was more excited. I'm sure Aria would have devoured half the box if I let her.

If you haven't heard of My Little Piccolo, they are a new brand of baby food, with a range of organic fruit and vegetable stage one purées. Not only that, but they work alongside the National Childbirth Trust and the Food Education Foundation.

I love the variety of flavours they have, which include:
Apple & Apricot
Banana, Blueberry & Apple
Cherry & Yoghurt
Peach & Apple
Spring Greens
Squash, Red Pepper & Chickpea
Mango, Pear & Kale
Raspberry & Apple
Sweet Potato, Beetroot, Apple & Pear

While they are delicious on their own, Aria has really taken to using the more savoury options such as Spring Greens as a dip, with either bread sticks or carrots and cucumber. They make a great snack for her while out and about, and on a hot day they are a perfect chilled snack straight from the fridge, although they can be stored in the cupboard unless opened.

We've loved testing out the My Little Piccolo range and there honestly isn't one flavour that Aria hasn't enjoyed! I'm looking forward to seeing their next range of flavours, as I'm sure they'll be just as much of a hit with Aria!
